Cat Cafe coming to West Columbia | The State

https://columbiabusinessreport.com/news/retail/73172/

West Columbia will be getting a cat cafe. Interesting concept and kind of happy to have one to go to in Columbia since the one in Charleston is so popular.

My question is. is it gonna be affordable? In the rates. Because Tremont apartments are hella expensive like $1200 a month.

We need more Mixed income apartments. Something that offers from cheap as $500 studios to $2000 super luxury in the same complex and/or building.

They're going to be market rate apartments.

That doesnt tell me much. I understand what Market Rate is. question is whats the state of the market right now? or by the time its finished. is it gonna be cheap or expensive. because I know riverfront property is pricey. and anything close to downtown is getting pricey quick.

The average is about $1200 so it could be between $1100-$1300 by then...I don’t if that’s based on one or two bedroom I just remember see that figure. Typically “market” isn’t going to be what is considered “affordable”.
