We will be visiting my daughter this Thanksgiving and wonder where we might go for a simple lunch / dinner instead of cooking. Reservations ?

You might call the Clarion Townhouse Hotel and see what's cooking there.

Last year we spent the holiday in Myrtle and were really not interested in the holiday buffets that were advertised. We ended up at the hibachi /sushi place at the Grand Strand and we had a great time. We ate at a hibachi table with a few group of strangers which made the meal a lot of fun. No reservation was needed and afterward we were able to walk around and enjoy the complex.

Ruth Chris Steakhouse (down-town) on the high end, Shoney's on the low-end (SE Cola on US-378/76 just past the I-77 interchange)

There's always any of the fine area Cracker Barrels. Take-out is an option.

I believe these folks have been open in the past...Give 'em a shout...
Lizard's Thicket

I remember the original location on Broad River Rd back in '79. I'd love to have a place like that near us out in Austin!

Garibaldi's Cafe in Five Points has a wonderful Thanksgiving menu every year. They have their normal menu and a traditional thanksgiving meal, too.
