Smile Builders in Columbia

Hi!

I'm trying to buy a house in South East and I think I might have found a neighborhood I like. Because I'm buying new construction, I've seen 2 houses that seem equal but are very different in price. One is by C&C Builders and is about $6K more expensive than the other, which is by Great Southern Homes. Does anyone know if this difference in price is justified by quality or workmanship? Please respond. Thanks

6k is not that great a difference, especially depending on upgrades and sq. ft. If one has a bigger footprint that alone could be the price difference. It's impossible for anyone on here to compare 2 homes that we have never seen to say why one cost more than the other. Your buyer agent should be able to determine if the prices are in line with the homes and upgrades. If you don't have a buyer agent you need to hire a full time professional.

Honestly, this is a very basic question and if you don't have representation you need to hire representation (doesn't cost you anything-paid for by seller). If you have representation ask them this question. If your representation can't answer, fire them and hire new representation.
