Are you aware of how many black people there are in South Carolina?? That's like saying ... where do Eskimos find snow.

They're everywhere. There are black colleges. Military bases and a whole TON of churches. Go down any street long enough and yes, you'll see a Black person. (Just say, "hi" and ask a few.)

There are many Black Singles in Columbia, S.C. over 40! You have to remember...you're in the deep south. If you're into "bar-hopping", try: Elements...located behind Columbia Mall on Two Notch Road, or "The Comedy Club", located on Decker Blvd. The NCO Club at Fort Jackson, has a party, hosted by WWDM-FM "The Big DM", on Wednesday Nights. If you're into church, try the singles ministry at these churches: Bibleway Church located on Atlas Road, or Brookland Baptist Church, located on Sunset Blvd, West Columbia. There are a lot of black singles, looking for someone at these churches. Also try First Nazareth Baptist Church, located at the corner of Millwood Avenue and Gervais Street. If you are trying to find a professional Black, single man or woman, try The Urban League's annual dinner, or the NAACP's Annual Freedom Fund Dinner. Also try: The Black Tie Network at: www.blacktienetwork.com. If you're into jazz musicians and music, try "The Hunter Gatherer" downtown, near The University of South Carolina, on Main Street, on Thursday Nights. Don't act too desperate to meet somebody, and have something to bring to the table. You'll be alright! Good Luck!
