Default Physicians in the Northeast

I finally made the move to Columbia and bought a house in the Woodlands area. Now it's time to take care of transferring everything from Houston to Columbia.

I've been having trouble figuring out things since I only have online resources. Locating a doctor here, isn't as easy as I'd thought.

Based on my location, can anyone recommend a good pediatrician and general practitioner? I need to get set up with new doctors before school starts and feel overwhelmed trying to find information on the internet.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Rice Creek Family practice is on Hardscrabble and they have great doctors. There is also a pediatrician in the same building, but I don't remember the name. Rice Creek's number is 227-7777 and they see adults and children and have other offices and doctors.

There are also physicians at Providence Hospital NE, off of Farrow road next to I-77. There is a general practitioner onthe 3rd floor, along with an allergy and food specialist along with other specific physician types.....

Pametto Pediatrics are great. They have locations on Hardscrabble Rd. and also on Polo Rd. As far as I can say they are really good and we see them since ten years. Phone 788-4886.

When I was younger, I went to Palmetto Pediatrics. My doctor no longer works there, but they are fantastic!

As far as a GP, I see Dr. Brian Cline, his office is located on Polo Rd. He's great. The number there is 803-699-7255

We love Cabiness at Palmetto Peds on Polo Rd. Next door to his office is a family practice office, can't give any opinion though, we don't use them. My "girlie" dr. is at University Specialist on Harden/277 (Judith Burgis) and she is GREAT! Hubby went to ortho (Eckert) and was satisfied. Dentist, we never really did find one we liked very much. Good luck with your search!
