Default Best ice cream shops/stands

My kids and I are coming to Columbia soon and would like to know which ice cream stands are your favorites. We have heard there is a place called Zesto that serves good soft serve, which seems to be hard to find in the South. Was also wondering if there was a Ben & Jerry's scoop shop in Columbia...any opinions/comments would be welcome! Thanks!

Rosewood Dairy has fantastic ice cream, and it has the hardshell stuff that you can get put over soft ice cream...Zestos is good too. It really depends on where you are going to be in Columbia.

We will actually be traveling all through the Columbia area (for possible relocation purposes), so all recommendations are welcome! Thanks again.

There is a Bruster's on Sparkleberry Lane in Northeast Columbia. Also there is a Marble Slab in The Village at Sandhills off of Clemson Road. Also, there is Rita's, which serves ice custard.

I think there is also a Ben and Jerry's on Main Street next to Adesso and in Northeast Columbia, but I'm not sure where. The Nickelodeon Theater also has a nice supply of Ben & Jerry's, which is one of my favorite parts of going there.

I am curious of a related topic--I heard there was a Nestle 2-story shop in either Columbia or Greenville, can someone elaborate?

I know there is a Nestle Toll House shop in the Village of Sandhills in NE Cola, don't think it's 2 stories though.
