Default Forest Wood Cup

Is this an annual event in Columbia? This is the first year I've heard of it. Went to the convention center today (and got upset at the lack of street designations, etc) and had a lot of fun. Especially meeting icons like Jimmy Houston & Hank Parker. I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked, because the wife was getting bored, and I'm hoping this will be back next year so I can go again (alone).

Or are there any other shows similar to this? I know the Bassmaster Elite comes to the area occasionally but I enjoyed the associated trade show that went with it.

as a ranger boat owner, that sort of event would be pretty cool to go to. We have a larger fishing expo up here that can draw thousands of visitors, but locally no big tourneys. But I would guess that down south the draws are much larger.
I did see that this could be an annual tourney(?), again something that would be fun to witness out on the water as well ( at a good distance of course )...

The State Fairgrounds used to (might still) have a nice boat/fishing/hunting show that was quite impressive to go to. They even had one of those giant GIANT fish tanks that the pros would fish in to show you technique. You could look in the side of the aquarium and watch the bass chase the bait

I believe it is an annual event, at least I know it has been held in Columbia before.
