Wow, 10 years of living in a city that you hate? Sucks for you.

Seems to me there are things to do if you only look.

Default Help with questions about Columbia

I've lived in Columbia only for about 7 years. However, relocating from one state to the next isn't always about the best night clubs or "walking home when the sun is rising". SC has a lot of rural areas and the issue is not really one of acceptance as it is sheer boredom! You'll need to relocate to an area that has shopping, movies, (yes a night life), but also jobs, apartments, etc. Look closely at Charleston, Columbia and Greenville...pick Greenville. It's prettier, has more cultural events, less highway congestion and it's not located in the "Arm-pit of South Carolina".

I'm mad you been here 10 years and haven't moved yet. That must really suck. There are 50 other states.
