Default Thank you for your hospitality

I was in Columbia this past weekend for Parent's Weekend at USC and had a lovely time. It just amazes me how nice everyone is there. I am not just talking about the university people or restaurant personnel but the stock boy in WalMart and the cashier in Food Lion and the strangers who pass you on the street and say Hi How you doing. It really is so refreshing. You have a lovely city and I thank you for your hospitality. Looking foward to the next visit.

Barbara, how is your daughter adjusting to college? Did she end up with a good roommate?

Matt,
My daughter absolutely loves it there! She is having a great time, maybe too much of a good time as she was at the doctor this morning with sore throat and swollen glands. LOL She has joined a sorority and already has a close group of friends. Her roomate seems nice enough but she is quite different from her. There have been a couple of issues but hey learning how to deal is a great life lesson. Thank you for asking, that is very nice of you.

I think that sickness is going around the colleges in Cola because my daughter has the same thing but refuses to go to the nurse. That's great she has adjusted well. My daughter has already applied to two other colleges to start the next semester at. She is bored with her classes and doesn't feel challenged.

Hi Luvs,
I'm sorry to hear your daughter isn't happy. Is she also at USC? I know there are 2 of my daughter's classes that she thinks are way too easy, hopefully that won't be the case next semester.
