Default single life

I'm comtemplaing applying for a job in Columbia, South Carolina. What's the single life like for someone who is a 26 year old white male? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't think the single life would be bad. There are bars, restaraunts, clubs in Columbia. Most of them will be down town in the Vista and 5 Points area. But, there are bars and restaruants all over, in Northeast and Lexington. The down town area is where most of the scene is, it is a collage town. 5 Points is where the majority of the collage aged people will hang out, and the Vista will have people of various ages. Hope this helps some.

Columbia has a very young average population so it is a great place to be single. There are in the neighborhood of 50,000 college students in the metro and many stay after college.

The Vista, 5 Points, a major university, lots of young professionals, Lake Murray...I'd say it's pretty good.
