So instead of ordering up a sirloin with sweet potato & salad, they come around and serve fresh slices with fruits & vegetables until you're full (flip the card red)?

That's right. Rio Grille in downtown Greenville's West End historic district is absolutely fantastic! The service is great, the salad items are fresh and delicious, and the meats are succulent. My favorite is the Fraldinha / Flank Steak. I also love the Abacaxi / Grilled Pineapple with cinnamon. It is definitely a restaurant you will be satisfied with every time.
FYI, the salad items are located at a buffet, which you can enjoy as often as you wish throughout the meal.

side note.....
as good as the salad/fruit buffets are at these places......
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MEAT!!!!
though i have to say, even after eating the equivalent of a couple cows...... these do have some dandy desserts as well!!
If you are gonna stuff yourself, may as well do it right...

That's not what the Brazilian guy did. He sliced the meat onto a platter and everyone was to finger feed off of it.
Also, the meat sat on rock salt overnight, so it was really salty, but man it was tender.

There are a couple here in Charlotte, but Chimas Brazilian steakhouse just opened downtown. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll have to check it out myself one day.
