Default Help with christmas for my 8 children

I have a huge problem. See, my father passed away unexpectably in early october. I had no choice but to go to NY and deal with all of that. As a result, I was gone too long and lost my job. And I missed all the sign ups for christmas programs for my 8 children. We live near the town of gaston. I have tried every lead I have been given, all with no avail. My children ( 8 of them) are all under the age of 10. Does anyone know where I can get some help with giving them something under the tree. This used to be my favorite holiday. Which still is because as we all know christmas isn't about all the gifts we get. It is about the birth of baby Jesus. But I wouldn't be asking if it was just me. My children deserve to have a joyful season.

Try visiting a local church there in Gaston or maybe if you get a chance go to the Salvation Army downtown as they usually have Christmas programs that assist families in situations such as your's.

You didn't mention your husband... my best Christmas memories are of just being together with my family and baking Christmas Cookies... toys were something my family didn't go in for...
