^^ that sounds do-able. Heck, with our am's in the 15-20 below right now, not like our gas furnace isn't working a lot ( plus the flannel sheets and electric blanket as well ). One can always get 'comfy' inside; it's much harder spending time out in this stuff.
Unless one is of the hardy types, who could sit on a pail on the frozen lake all day, just waiting for a fish to bite....

nothing funnier then to watch all the guys out there on pails on a frozen lake, only to see one running when someone yells "tip-up" and it's not the one he's been staring at for hours.
Grown adults, in snowmobile suits ( and fueled with alcohol ) aren't graceful running on the ice...

now if they are in a nice shanty, with heat, portable tv ( no longer useful with signal changes coming ) and folding chairs--that is not a bad way to fish in winter.....

I suspect that it's one of the many parts of our culture that would just fade away without alcohol.
