Default What is the neighborhood behind USC Medical School?

This seems like a nice neighborhood. It's behind USC Medical School off of Garner's Ferry Road and has Meadowfield Elementary School and Woodland Park. Does anyone have any information on it?

Thanks!

I think you are talking about the Hamptons as I refer to them. All the names of the different sections start with Hampton.

There is Hampton Forest - These are 2 BR 2 and a half BA Town Homes that currently have 6 properties listed. They start at $123,900 and go up to $152,000. From 1,334sqft to 1,552sqft for the largest, and it has 3 bedrooms.

Hampton Woods- There are for on the market, all single family homes from $194,500 to $239,900. 1,590sqft up to 1,928sqft. One is a 4Br 2Ba, the others are 3Br 2 and a half baths.

Hamptonwood East- There are 2 on the market and both are single family homes. One is a 4Br 2 and a half Ba and is 2,196sqft for $199,900. The other is a 3 Br 2 and a half Ba and is 2,382sqft for $249,000.

Hampton Trace- There are 3 on the market in there and all are single family homes. Two are 3Br and 2 and a half Ba and 1 is a 4Br 2 and 2 hlaf baths. They range from 1,730sqft up to 3,000sqft and from $209,900 to $299,000.

Hampton Leas- There are 6 single family homes for sale. 4 are 3Br 2 and a half Ba. 1 is a 4Br 2 and a half Ba. 1 is a 5Br 3 and a half Ba. 1,860sqft to 3,000sqft and $239,900 to $346,900.

Hampton Chrest- 3 single family homes for sale. One 5Br 3 and a half Ba 3,041sqft for $349,900. One 4Br 2 and a half Ba 3,097sqft for $349,900. One 5Br 4 and a half Ba 3,188sqft for $389,000.

Hamptons Grant- 2 single family homes for sale. One 4Br 3 and a half Ba 2,500sqft for $354,900. One 4Br 4 and a half Ba 3,550sqft for $450,000.

Hampton Ridge- 1 single family home for sale. 3Br 2 and a half Ba 3,271sqft for $372,500.

They all seem to be zoned for Meadowfield Elementry, Hand Middle, and Dreher High School. I'm afraid I do not know what any of the homes there rent for or if any are for rent at the moment. I also know that the last time I was in the area, there were a couple of for sale by owner properties, but I do not have any info on them. I hope this helps some, have a good one.

Wow! Thank you so much! That's a lot of great info. I'm not looking to buy right now - looking for a rental starting May 1. I think the best thing to do is just go up in April and drive the neighborhood looking for "For Rent" signs. The area is big enough that I should find something.

I would suggest that you drive around and look for signs in the area if that's where you would like to stay. You may also want to contact a property manager and see if any of them around town have a home for rent that you may be interested in. Best of luck to you.
