The best chicken in town is at the Zesto's on North Main and the Zesto's in Triangle City in West Columbia. Their chicken is better than at the other Zesto's in town.

Zesto's and Rush's chicken are very good, but can't compare with Mac's.

I've been to Mac's in the evening a couple of times, but mostly to listen to the music. They have a pretty good blues/jazz band there regularly.

Lunch is the time to eat there. Get there early because it's right across from the county courthouse and a LOT of people go there for lunch.

But hey, we're not eating out much anymore anyway.

Zesto's chicken is great! Never had Mac's. It's a little bit of a ride but Shealy's barbeque in Leesville has fried chicken that is too die for. I eat their chicken instead of their barbeque!
