Default single girl moving to columbia SC--hows the dating scene

I'm thinking about moving to Columbia after graduation and will be working in the health care field. I had lived in Charlotte for about 3 yrs and loved the lake norman area. But for some reason I'm feeling like I need to explore other areas-- I think I'm afraid once I move back to Charlotte I'll be there forever and ever amen. Charleston isn't currently hiring in my specific profession so I'm checking out Columbia.... just wondering how the single life is there -- I'll be 38 yrs old when I move there

At 38, probably the Vista will be an area where you'll tend to hang out more than in Five Points. There is a large singles population here so I guess that would bode well for dating. There is also a large pool of workers in your field so that might be good, professionally. Some upcoming events you might want to check out are the St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival in Five Points next Saturday and the "Turner to Cezanne" Impressionist exhibit that just opened at the Columbia Museum of Art.
