Default Moving to Columbia/Blythewood area

I'm going to be moving to the Columbia/Blythewood here in the next couple of months, could anyone suggest a good real estate person to help find rental homes & tell me what areas are reasonably priced but not in a bad area & have good schools?

Thanks

Sorry, I was a little late on the reply michakaveli.

People seem to like Richland 2 schools and Blythewood has the newest schools in that district. Richland Two is in Northeast Columbia, and Blythewood is right next door. Check out Lake Carolina, Brookhaven, Highlands, and Heather Green. You should be able to find something reasonably priced in one or any of those.

Blythewood on the other hand is more rural and a lot of the communities are more custom built type communities or rural houses on land. However, you may want to check out Willow Lake, Blythecreek, and possibly Ashley Oaks.

I have lived in Blythewood for 6 years now and I love it. My daughter is going to Bethel Hanberry Elementry for the third year my son is starting the three year old child development there next year. It is a great school. Blythewood is a lovely place to live.

My husband and I run a landscape business in Blythewood so if you move here give us a call we offer free estimates.

I was thinking it was time for pdvincit to add:

A word to the wise: Ask your attorney about why you do not need a new home warranty in South Carolina.
I'm dying to know the answer to this one.

Me too. As I've understood it the builder is required to warrant the structural integrity for 8 years.
