Drive from Hartsville to Columbia
Might be moving to Hartsville, I would rather not live in that small of a town. How crazy would I be to commute from Columbia everyday?

Most people I know do have an hour commute, including my husband. It would depend on where you lived in Columbia and where in Hartsville you'd be working, but I'd say it would be about 1 hour each way. It is all highway driving too and the speed limit is like 70 on that road, so it might be less time then an hour.

Well, it might be pushing it a little, but its very possible to make it from Hartsville to the NE suburbs of Cola in an hour. But you might consider commuting to Florence from Hartsville, only about a 20 minute drive and a fairly nice city. One things for sure, you have the right idea not living in Hartsville....

Could you explain what you meant here? Just curious.

You could easily commute from Northeast Columbia to Hartsville in under an hour since you'd be driving opposite the traffic. I don't know much about Hartsville, but I do know that it is rather small.
