Default Rosewood area

We are relocating and unfamiliar with many areas - how is the safety of the Rosewood neighborhood? Is it a nice family area, where kids can ride bikes around, safely play outside, etc.?

That thread has mostly focused on Rosewood Hills and not the entire neighborhood. Generally speaking, the section of Rosewood closest to Rosewood Drive is the nicest and it gets more sketchy the further you get from that thoroughfare.

I really haven't seen too many kids in the northern reaches of Rosewood. I get the impression that there are a lot of graduate students and other single folks trying to save money.

You can check this (and the other neighborhoods) on City-Data's page on Rosewood. Use the pull-down menus, and you can see that it really isn't families living in the northern census tracts.

I like the South Holley loop..South Holley - South Bonham..sort of makes a horse shoe. Nice homes in there. I have a few friends that have lived on Etiwan and liked it.
