Does Gaston have an animal protection agency? (Lexington, Blackville: live in, buses)

I am trying to find some help for some abused and starving animals in the Gaston,SC area...I cannot find where to report this to!?
If anyone cares about dogs, and a lamb being starved in
Gaston, please let the correct athorities know.
They are somewhere around the Blackville Road area and the owner drives a white truck.
My friend who lives near there is afraid to call anyone, for fear that the owner will retalliate against her and her disabled husband.
PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP THOSE ANIMALS!

Gaston is a small town and unlikely to have a local animal welfare agency. I'm sure there is something at the county level for Lexington County.

Thanks for replying to my post...you see, I live in another state and really do not know anything about SC or Gaston.
Maybe someone will take pity on those animals and at least try to find them and do something about all this.

You really don't give us much information to go on unless someone on this board happened to be their neighbors. Maybe you could get the info from your friends and make the actual report for them?

I live in the north and am thinking of relocating to SC and saw your blog. There are two numbers to call in SC to help animals in Gaston

1) Humane Society at 803-783-1267 - Press #4 for animal cruelty reports

2) Pets, Inc. in Lexington - 1-803-407-1152

I formerly lived in SC. You can just call and tell them exactly where this is happening. Please call so the animals won't suffer. Thanks. Good luck.

There are two places you can report animal abuse in Lexington County

1) Humane Society - 1-803-783-1267 Press #4 for cruelty report

2) Pets, Inc.

Can you call for your neighbor and tell the above agencies? Please report these abuses and don't let these poor animals suffer. Hope this helps. why would you want to report any animal abuse, they all think the same down here!!!!! they are all backwards. they torture dogs and cats in shelters with their gassing, starving animals in shelters, like one famous shelter is chickamauga, ga. she will not feed the dogs in the shelter, animal deaths that are so cruel you can't even imagine??? check out this lady who is the director at this shelter, she should be gassed, thank god she lives 1000 miles from me>>>>>>>>>>>>>> p.o.s. been getting lots of complaints about this lady, and her cruelty that animals face in her shelter, i wish someone had this womens e-mail so they could foward this to her, i am sending e-mails of the ways of this shelter to all big news networks< someone is gonna pay some attention to her really soon.........................

If you still need to make a compliant you may contact Animal Control for the county that you live in or you may contact The Humane Society. Any complaint that you make can be made anonymously. The information that you will need to provided is an address for where the animal is located in, if not a physical address, then you would at least need a description of the home. Let them know if the animal has food, shelter, and water; and also a description of the animal. This will help the Officer locate the animal in a timely manner.
If the animal is located in Lexington County you should call 803-785-8149;
If you want to contact the Humane Society you can call 803-783-1267.
