Any Good Roadfood Type Restaurant Open Sundays Near Airport?
My daughters best friend has been in Columbia for training this week and I am driving down from Greenville tomorrow afternoon to meet her for lunch. She drops her rental car off at 2:30 and has to check in for her flight by 4:00. I would rather not eat in the airport, as the food tends to be pretty blah. Any recommendations for a good place, not pricey, that is near the airport and that is open on Sundays?
TIA

Lizard's Thicket? Corner of Hwy 302 and Boston Avenue.

That looks like a good place, and I know she has never been to a meat and three!

Tell your daughter's best friend to tell the manager to tell the Williams family, the owners, to tell Robert, who manages the Garner's Ferry location, that Matt, who usually eats at their Forest Drive location, sent her.

AAAARGH! She just called and said the one thing to eat on her list that she didn't get to was crab cakes! I looked online and the Blue Marlin has good reviews. Any thoughts about that place?

Blue Marlin is great and only about 10 minutes off the interstate on the corner of Gervais and Lincoln Streets in the Vista area of downtown Columbia.

I hope you had a side of collard greens. Blue Marlin has some of the best in town.
