Default Counselor/Therapist recommendations please
I'm new to the area. Being a licensed clinical social worker myself, I'm looking for recommendations for a marriage/relationship counselor/therapist who does good work in the Columbia area. Just like hair stylists, doctors, and realtors, it's always better to go with someone who's had a good experience.

I'm so glad to hear everyone on City-data Columbia has such healthy relationships! LOL. I've made an appointment with someone and will update for those of us who may need a good referral.

Try Dr. Jenny Savitz-Smith. Not Jennifer (that's the mother). If she's not what you are looking for explain what you are looking for and she will give you a referral you can trust.

Dr. Jack Luadzers is located on Calhoun Street in Cola. He is excellent. I have used him for years. He is certified and published. I wish I could give you his number but tell him that Tom Greene reccommended him. You'll love him. His wife Darcy is also excellent!
