I'm pretty sure pull-behind & 5th wheel campers have to be registered (and probably insured, to be on the road), but does anyone know about pop-up campers? Is it all the same?
I'm going to say yes on this one. I mean you need a license plate. The stupid little lawn garden tractor trailers need registered and licensed i believe. I don't see why a pop-up camper wouldn't need to be registered.
I have yet to see garden tractor trailers with a license plate. (I'm out in Lexington.) They stand out like a sore thumb to me because they were required to have a plate in my previous state. I have seen a few pop-ups with plates although I don't know what the law is.
