Default Need above average Apartment with access to the best Public Elem. Schools around Columbia

I'm moving with a 5 year old who is starting school in August. I have to rent an apartment, but do not want to live where college students are renting. She needs a great school where we could live in an above average Apartment Community (I'm not prepared to buy. I prefer suburban life and don't want to live too far from Lexington. Please help!!!

There are some very nice apartments in Lexington across from the Lexington County Library that are just a short drive from downtown Lexington. There are also some nice apartments close to Lexington Middle School. Good luck!

Lexington 1 is the best school district in the metro. They have so many elementary schools. They are Lexington, Lake Murray, Oak Grove, Midway, Pleasant Hill, New Providence, and White Knoll. I do not know the name of the apartments but they are very nice looking and is in a great location.

What area to live in that will be zoned for either Springdale Elementary or Lake Murray Elementary, even if they are in different places?

To be zoned into Springdale, you need to live more towards the airport and areas around that. For Lake Murray, you may need to look on the Lexington1 site.
