Fort Jackson, Shaw and McEntire have been so soon forgotten in the state's metros' bragging rights competition. The attached article sounds a bit laurels-resting if you will, but, while the military isn't a sexy subject in terms of job growth and investment, they are making a huge impact on this region and the state.
