Does anyone know of programs besides CSU for a 14 years old to do for the summer in Columbus GA? It doesn't seem like there is anything for my 14 year old to do for the whole summer. Right now I have him going to a summer camp in atlanta for a week but Atlanta is so far when I have to work during the week.

Check with the rec centers. They should have stuff going on.

Columbus parks and rec isn't accepting middle school kids this year. I'm having the same problem.

You can also check Greystone's Pinterest board, where they're listing different summer camps for the Columbus area:

Columbus Summer Camps 2012

If you've never used Pinterest before - if you see a "pin" that you are interested in, click on it. Then click on the window that opens and it will take you directly to the original website for that item.

You can always check muscogeemoms.com. Charlotte definitely has the go to website for anything kids in this area. She just had a Kids Camp Fair at the Civic Center last weekend.
Please be sure to tell her Kim Olive of Fort Benning Area Guide sent you.
