Does anyone know what is being built in the old Watfords location out in the Ladonia?

Agreed! Starbucks would be PERFECT there.. We have to go all the way down Manchester for the closest one..

The manager of one of the Bojangles in Columbus said another Bojangles is going in there. I hope it's true!

There are quite a few local coffee shops that are WAY better than Starbucks! I'm not sure where you live, but I bet there is one closer to you than the Manchester Starbucks.

Agreed! Midtown Coffee House, Iron Bank, Fountain City just to name a few. I always urge people to shop local whenever possible.

There isn't.. There are only 3 Starbucks in Columbus that I know of. I live really close to Manchester and Miller Road.

All of these are far away from Harris County and North Columbus. When Columbus Coffee was across we frequented it often.

The interesting part of that is this part:

Quote:
A separate project, long planned on Veterans Parkway and adjacent to McAlister’s Deli and Waffle House, is still on hold despite having five executed leases, Lewis said. That’s because the company, aside from those five acres, owns another 35 acres behind that land, with the two parcels separated by a railroad line that sees limited use.
I don't really understand why the future development behind the Veterans Parkway project has anything to with getting that project started, unless they're saying they want to move it ALL on the other side of the railroad tracks.
