Nice retail candidates (especially Banana Republic and J. Crew)! Were those names being tossed around a couple years ago when the CPC expansion was originally announced and postponed, or did you hear within the last few weeks that they were interested in coming here?

These were names during the original announcement. I imagine they will be back when this starts. From what I have heard, Plato's Closet moved to The Landings because they needed more space and CPC doesn't have it. This is a good thing because restaurants and retailers want to be there. I believe we will see a solid mix that is not in the Columbus market at this time.

This expansion looks huge so I'm looking forward to when more of the strores are announced. I'd be willing to bet we will see a least a few of our "most wanted" list join our market when this expansion happens!

Default Exit 30 in Harris County

It would be nice to have a Bass Pro and Publix to this area. There is nothing out this way. Would be great to see something at Exit 30, there is only a Shell Station at this exit. I would like to see a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Store come to this area. There is one on 431 in Headland, Al and it is a great little store. I hope someone will look into this for Exit 30 in Harris County.

This Neighborhood Market in Headland is really a "Walmart Express" but they for some reason named it a Neighborhood Market. It's VERY small, almost too small. I went in it the other day while traveling.

Exit 21 onto I-185 to Columbus (2nd largest city in Georgia) would make much more sense than Harris County, and Columbus leaders should get involved and present the reasons why to the Bass Pro folks. Ft. Benning, whitewater, growing tourism, etc.

I seriously doubt that folks driving from Atlanta to Florida's beaches will be stopping to buy boats, kayaks, and RV's along the way!
