I agree. Nice location for a hotel and office space.

I thought there may be some new developments on this, but the plans died long ago, right?

Meanwhile BTW is the focus of a story of a very high profile murder, which may not have happened if the place was demolished by now, as originally planned.

Okay, there is news?

Something is being done to improve the BTW area, excellent and improves safety of visitors to town coming to the Civic Center and so on.

I've been out of the loop on this... have they settled on what to build in that place?

They have, it will be a mix of housing and retail/office development. Should make that area of downtown look a lot better.

I agree this will be a huge difference and make this area look a lot more better. I just hope the land doesn't get misused for a gas station and small shops. I would like to see a hotel go right there.

Not sure what y'all are expecting, but I think we'd get lucky with a hotel - very lucky, so lucky in fact I doubt we get it.

The land might be large enough for a grocery store, but I'm not sure a publix would be interested due to the immediate population, unfortunately.

I would get ready for a CVS honestly.
