I read back about 20 pages ago in the ongoing and future projects thread that an Aldi's was coming to town. Does anyone know if this is still true and if so has any work begun?

If you drive by that location you can actually see the frame of the building up, so it shouldn't be much longer now.

I know they want at least one in South Columbus, probably Victory Dr. I also would think we'd see them open one out in east Columbus. I think one on 2nd Ave would do very well.

I don't know what all the hype is over Aldi; it's just an over sized convenient store with no gas, seriously or a pharmacy with extra food but no drugs.
