Columbus can easily support this. Downtown restaurants are just as expensive if not more.

Agree, Mabella, Epic, Buckhead and the soon to open Salt Cellar are all higher prices. Good luck getting in Mabella on a Friday night. Even TBONES Phenix City is packed most every night.

The Ruby Tuesday location would be great for a Culver's!

If it turns out to be a "Breakers" Korean BBQ, I would also be concerned for the Columbus market, and feel that menu prices here will need to be lower than the Atlanta/Fairfax/LA restaurants are charging. I like the concept though and hope that it succeeds well here. But I said the same thing about Columbus not being ready when Fresh Market opened here, and Fresh Market seems to be doing very well.

I looked up Breakers in Atlanta to see what kind of prices they have and saw a review site listed it at around $10-30 per person (google listed it as $$) which doesn't sounds that expensive if the quality is good. Even if most of the items are closer to the $30 range and the quality matches the price I'm sure it will do fine.

Fuji Japanese seems to do pretty well at the same price point Breakers is. And didn't the article quote the owner as saying "something like Breakers" so judging this restaurant as an overpriced failure is quite the leap.
