Thanks!  Let's agree to disagree and see how Columbus, West Central GA and East Central AL handle the success. I believe the Valley will do just fine thank you.  One other thing ,what gave you the idea that Columbus did some type of recruiting to get BRAC? The Federal Government decided to send those extra troops and civilians here, but I'm sure there were a few congressmen and senators doing their best to ensure that Robins AFB, Moody AFB, Hunter Army Air Field, Fort Gordon, Fort Steward, Fort Benning, Kings Bay, MCLB in Albany and any other military installation in GA remained in GA at the minimum.

Lol, Fort Benning is the Ga largest employer, NOT!!!!!
Robins Air Force Base is the largest industrial complex in Georgia, employing a work force of over 25,584 civilian, contractor, and military members.

anyway i would not waste my breath trying to argure or to get the word threw these thick peoples brain that live in macon about our growth in the future so dont even argure with them just dont pay them no attention because there just jealous because of brac locating to our area and they no it will bring some growth to our area we will wait and see in the future if brac will bring growth to our area hopefully it will i hope so

Even a grade schooler would know that Robins has been the leader for years!!
He must have been talking about the largest skyline in Georgia!

Well according the the state of Ga Robins is the largest employer in the State... Besides activate duty do mean they are all employed, the is a mixture employment, trainings, reserves and etc.... and in fact the first you read line on Robins web site states its the largest employer and that is no where on ft benning's site.
