Default Columbus info

My husband moved into the 31909 zip code in Nov. The kids and I will be there in July after our daughter graduates from HS. What is a good elementary school in the area and a good Baptist or AME church. We will be buying a house when we get there, what subdivisions should we look into and which ones should we avoid. Thanks in advance.

Blanchard Elementary School is in that zip code. It's a good school. For a church, I would look at Morningside Baptist Church. As for a subdivision, Springlake is nice but a little older. What price range are you guys looking at?

Just re-read my post, I meant to type Baptist/AMEZ churches. How far is that area from Ft. Benning?

That area is North Columbus. It is probably 20-25 mins for Fort Benning. It is near a lot of new retail and restaurants. You will definitely like the area.
