Well I know I've said before but right now with the state of the economy retail growth needs to be pause for right now. When we get out of the recession I hope the Grove gets started and does well.
Auburntext let's not start any Auburn is better than Columbus stuff. We don't need that just like we don't need the Macon is better than Columbus silliness. It's unproductive at best.
I like Auburn and think it's on its way. Both Columbus and Auburn should succeed and prosper.

Besides, the two metros are tied together and have been for many years. And it will continue to be that way. If someone is naive to say otherwise, they need only to camp on US-280 and watch the traffic flow from Columbus, Phenix City, Smith Station, Salem, Opelika, Auburn and Valley. The whole Chattahoochee Valley is tied together. What has been good for one area has been good for all. This whole area has benefited from new jobs and cultural activities.

I agree with JLA....We should unite as a region. After all, we are a "combined statistical area" which means are economies interact with each other a frequent basis. Lets grow our area!

I still have to question Atlcol1 motives in that he never answers many questions posed to him by many posters other than Cattorney.
I looked at several threads posted to him that he has not answered.
After recent visits to Columbus I can say again that Auburn is in much better shape overall.

saharaga, do you know of any Caribbean restaurants in Atlanta where I can get some good roti? I have tried 3 or 4 different Restaurants, but none tend to want to deal with the hassle of making it. The only time I can get it is when I eat at Rosie's in Columbus and I think I have gotten it at Spice's once. I wouldn't be asking, but I spend quite a bit of time in the Atlanta area (working) and I believe you lived there for some time, before moving to "HELL". Thank's in advance for your help.

I'm afraid my suggestion won't be much better. When I'm able to, I usually go to Liz's International Roti House on Covington Hwy. She makes fresh roti daily and it's excellent.
