I agree.
I have friends at all of these local companies and they said that they have let people go or on hiring freezes and have been for months.
It is sad when someone posts this kind of thing just to gain recognition and certainly doesn't do much for this posters credibility.

If I recall correctly the AJC published NCR would be locating to Macon  .. so I don't know how reliable they would be

I can vouch for the previous poster as it was in our paper here around the end of June.
The article on Macon is wayyyy old.

I think the point the other poster is making is that the city has NO money for development and would support the notion of why the city cannot move forward without constant handouts from state and federal govt.
I have to agree that it makes your posts of massive this and that a little embarrassing.

Every city in the country are having their budgets cut. Again, it is nothing unique. You guys are just ridiculous! Like I said, NCR is bringing 900 high-paying jobs, that is what matter because it is putting people to work!!!!!!!! Be thankful if you have a job in this economy because it is only getting worse!
