These look like FACTS to me!!Columbusattorney has been right from the beginning on the crime issues downtown! As bad or WORSE than victory drive/south columbus area.1. Zone 23: Southwestview This is the area once known as Kendricks Quarter and now called Southwestview, bordered to the west by a creek behind 30th Avenue, to the south by Victory Drive, to the north by North Lumpkin Road, and coming to a point east where North Lumpkin intersects Victory Drive. It had the most car break-ins, with 68.2. Zone 24: Between Victory Drive & Cusseta Road (tie)Tied for second with 53 reports was this zone, which is just east of Zone 23, on the east side of North Lumpkin Road. It’s between Victory Drive and Cusseta Road.2. Zone 18: Behind old Baker High (tie)This zone, also with 53 break-ins, is just to the east of Zone 24. Also bordered north by Cusseta Road and south by Victory Drive, it essentially is the area behind the old Baker High School.4. Zone 430: DowntownThis is the heart of Columbus’ central business and entertainment district. Its borders run from the Chattahoochee River east to Second Avenue, and from Ninth Street north to 13th Street. The fact that it ranks third, with 51 car break-ins — just two behind Zones 24 and 18 — indicates thieves have found it a lucrative hunting ground for motorists leaving valuables in their vehicles while parking downtown.
