Use to go to Callaway Gardens every summer. Great place and you should love it. Of course, I suspect it has changed since the 1970s (Not to date myself) If I ever actually get around to moving, the area is on my short list.

Could it be that white flight out of Columbus has "pufiried" the Harris System to a degree? Is this what constitutes a "much better" system these days?

LaGrange City Schools (along with Hogansville and West Point city systems) merged with the Troup County System many years ago.
