Use to go to Callaway Gardens every summer. Great place and you should love it. Of course, I suspect it has changed since the 1970s (Not to date myself) If I ever actually get around to moving, the area is on my short list.

LaGrange City Schools (along with Hogansville and West Point city systems) merged with the Troup County System many years ago.

I do believe the inquiring person will get more land and house in Troup County for his/her money, but the school system is better in Harris County.
