Ex-football star Clarett back in class at Ohio St. - CFB News - FOX Sports on MSN

Good luck Maurice. You made mistakes, you paid for them and now it's time to get your life back on track.

Good luck bro.!

I don't know why anyone would discourage OSU from welcoming him back. He messed up big, and paid his price. Now he wants to get his act together and complete school, well I think thats exactly what needs to happen. If more troubled young men made these types of decisions the majority of them would probably avoid returning back to prison.

Ok, you realized you used the word "did" as in past-tense. That was a while ago, and seems like he wants to do something with his life. He didn't have to go back to school, but he decided to. That says something...

I love his new lot on life, but he's an a$$ and I don't feel sorry for him one bit. I hope he finds new success however.

I wish him nothing but the best. Sometimes I think people forget that college athletes are under a huge magnifying glass with lots of temptations at the young ages of 18 to 22. He was young, very immature, and has now started to get his life back together. His first step is going back to get his degree. I hope things turn around for Maurice.

I attended the lovely OSU while he was a star and helped us win a championship, but he also completely embarrassed everyone at OSU with his NFL-ambition antics and somehow got caught with a trunkload full of automatic weapons because he was fleeing the Israeli mob???? Maybe some of you know him on a more personal level but to me he has made too many mistakes for me to just give him the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER, that does not mean I don't wish him all the best, and what a comback story that would be if he turned his life around!

Honestly, who cares... You are treating a former college athlete like a celebrity. Who cares what he does with his life.

I agree, I do not care what he does with his life, just as long as he makes good decisions and doesn't go back to his old ways.
