Hi all. I finally got my offer, I will be working in Pickerington and was wondering if there were any small town type of communities that actually have apartments near there? I know that Pickerington isn't huge, but I would prefer be a little further out. I was looking at Lancaster.

Would any of you have any recommendations for smaller communities, or do you think that Pickerington area is my best bet?

I will only be making $34k to start, so cost of living is very important. I can't pay much more than $700 per month with utilities.

Thanks for any advice!

There's a lot in P-town to choose from. There are some apts. in Reyn. right at 70 and rt. 256. nice area with a lot of stores and resturants. lancaster is def. rural, but I'd stay closer. I'm not sure about apts, but look out towards Baltimore or even Buckeye Lake. Canal Winchester is nice also. def. pick up some of those apt books at the gas station if you visit.
