I do have these issues now. It has caused me to perhaps look for a new provider.

It turned out to be my modem. They didn't have a config file made for my brand thus it was running DOCSIS 1.0 speed which has troubles when a lot of people are on the network.

I went ahead and bought a webstar modem off ebay .. the same modem they use... and it works perfectly at night during prime time. I even increased my speed to 15/1 and most of the time I get higher than that.

I've never noticed the issues on the modem, usually not up that late.

But I just had this happen about 3 weeks ago. We have the dvr downstairs and the cable digital box thing on the tv upstairs, so I only get channels 2 thru 90 something, whatever my tv goes to. I was fliping channels one night and Big Bang Theory was on TBS, stopped n watch for a minute, then went on flipping. scanned channels again and went back to it and it was in spanish. huh weird! so I went to ask the hubby to go to TBS on the downstairs tv and it was fine, back up stairs and it was still spanish and still is. never called about that or certain HD channels not coming thru but someday I will.
Anybody else notice that?

Thank you!!! I've been having these issues with WOW and I have their modem. Since my computer activity usually contributes to my insomnia, I never really called them because I just went to bed. Except once recently in which I was in the process of completing an online application....I lost all that information.

Now I'm off to look for a new modem.
