We are looking to move to Columbus area in Ohio however we are wondering if there are any magnet, trade or other kinds of schools other than public /private schools? Schools that specify in sports, art, engineering, music, etc.,

There isn't any in the greater Columbus area that I am aware of, however Delaware and Marion both have vocational schools available.

I also went to a vocational school. I went to Fairfield/Eastland career center. I really liked it. The schools it covers are Whitehall, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington, Canal Winchester, down to Lancaster area.
