Moving-Which city would you recommend?
My husband, children, and I are wanting to move to the Columbus area. we are just starting the process of choosing where we live. We have driven through the area and found that we liked Grove City and Hillard and Pickerington. Which one of these cities would you recommend and why? Please give all of the information that you can about crime, schools, etc. I am a little nervous because those areas seemed nice to us, but then I saw some posts here about the SW side and it makes me want to rethink things a little.

Hilliard, Pickerington and Grove City in that order. All are fairly similar but I would go with Hilliard due to convenience, traffic and schools.

Lancaster is also nice
Lancaster is also nice..........just a little furthur out from Pickerington....We have been here 6 years...........low crime, decent schools ( have two at Tarhe elementary )............many people commute into Columbus from here. We love it..........feel safe, great family community in my opinion. Good luck with your decision.............
You can also get alot of house for your money right now........
I think it is like that all over Ohio now.........so if you are looking to buy you are in luck.
Feel free to send me a private message if you have any other questions about the area, housing or schools and I will try to help.

How is Lancaster with black people or mixed couples and children? I noticed there's few if any in Lancaster.
