Singleness
Yo ChucKie, I think any place can be "good" or "bad" to be single, depending on the way you approach it. If the right person is there for you and you're the right person for her, it could happen in Columbus...or New York City...or Somerset, Ohio! Doesn't matter...
Yes, Columbus has a higher than average population of singles, age 25-40. Are these all eligible singles (i.e. inclined to someday no longer be single?) That's a dicier question. I as a male have found many Columbus gals are already "married" to their career, their material possessions, or their personal pride. Who needs that?! Yuck.
It also depends what you're looking for: a few dates here and there? a steady girlfriend? a potential wife?
One surface-level thing about dating that sucks is that it always seems so random—as Van Halen put it, "you never really know - when love will come or go!" But if you look deeper than that, I think you'll find there's a purpose for everything.
Some folks chalk it up to "fate" or "luck" or whatever. As for me, I would encourage you to keep your mind and heart open to what God might have in store for you!
Peace & good cheer, dude!

I don't know if Cbus is good or bad. It provides a city environment so there's more opportunities to meet people. But because it is a city setting it may be less personal. I agree with lancasternative that it all depends.
