Total Property Crime Rate Average: 19.2

Yeah, what fear must the residents of Dublin be living in with those rates?

BTW, here were the total reported violent crimes for the entire 2005-2010 period.
Murder: 0
Assault: 17
Rape: 26
Robbery: 54

You were apparently witness to half the crimes in Dublin for the past 5-7 years.
Yeah right buddy, more than likely you just pulled that "data" off of some cheap records site that bases it's facts off of CITY reports, not actual police reports. It seems to me that you are someone who used to live in Dublin who just wants to keep your former community seeming "up and spiffy" and prevent others from finding out the real truth. Typical suburbia

If by "cheap records site", you mean the FBI, then you're right. The Dispatch also has the numbers from the FBI in the DATA section of the online paper. Feel free to look them up and apologize anytime you feel like it.

And no, never lived in Dublin and I honestly can't think of anyone I know that does live there.

I lived for 14 years in Columbus. I did not have a school-aged child during that period; so, I cannot speak as a parent. I lived in both neighbordhoods and I can easily say that UA is close to everything even if it does not have its own BIG MALL, duhh! However, I did teach math to roughly 2000 students at OSU and I can say that the UA graduates had the best background and structure when it comes to math.

One more thing: If you have a house in UA and decide to sell it, you should not have much challenge! Your house will not gain or lose much value compared to the other parts though!

I think you’ll be fine in either but I would consider commute. As a mom I’d like lifetime fitness and the zoo in Dublin. It’s just convienabt and the Homes have attached parking and updated homes. We ended up in new albany over upper Arlington due to these types of things. I didn’t want a renovation. Upper Arlington does have a better location for Osu/downtown work and better restaurants and cosi.

This. Both places are good. New Albany is good, but a bit further. Avoid "have you considered Bexley...." type comments. Place is well policed but surrounded by not so good areas on all sides.
