That's cool! I had a g/f who lived at Governors Sq. for awhile, and even considered moving there myself. Also looked at Fox & Hounds. Both are nicely maintained (built in the '70s) and convenient to almost everything—especially the Borders store @ Henderson & Kenny.

If you need to be at OSU daily, either for work or study, there's probably no better area of town to live in.

I would say it all depends on the atmosphere you are looking for. That area is great if you want to lead a suburban lifestyle. If you want a more urban lifestyle, Victorian Village/Grandview/Clintonville may be better options.

Yup, admittedly true—although it's easy for a country boy like me to forget that. Maybe I should've phrased it "If I needed to be at OSU daily..."

Sometimes the inner-city areas just don't occur to me as options bcuz, well...environments that are too urban give me the creeps!

That being said, Victorian Village is a bit pricey for folks living on a typical student's budget. But yes, Grandview and Clintonville (esp. south Clintonville) have lots of OSU students.
