A 4-story, 36-unit condo building has been proposed for 1676 E. Broad across from Franklin Park.
Hopefully they revise this proposal by quadrupling the height and having better architecture.

I'm more concerned about there being mixed-use elements than height in this location.

Borror has proposed a 6-story, 220-unit mixed-use project for 271 E. State Street next to Grant Hospital.

50-Acre Big Box Retail Project Changing into Mixed-Use Development | ColumbusUnderground.com

A previous proposal for the former garbage dump site at Dublin Road and Grandview Avenue has been changed. Previously, due to regulations on what can be built on top of former dumps, the original proposal was for single-story retail outlets, a strip center and large parking lots. Now, due to further remediation, a mixed-use development is planned. Previously, no residential was included, and now potentially 10 multi-story residential buildings containing 1,160 apartments are planned, along with office buildings, a hotel and a pair of parking garages. Retail will be mixed with the residential/office buildings as well. While the plan is a HUGE improvement from the original, the surface parking is still far too expansive. That said, that's easily remedied in the future, and the developer stated that the project could be expanded depending on demand. The exact layout and height are not given.

The new quarry MetroPark off of Trabue and Dublin roads is moving forward, as well as a mixed-use development on part of the existing site. 600 apartments, 440 single-family homes, retail and office space are all included as part of a 70-acre development. 62 acres will be part of the new MetroPark, with an additional 160 or so acres being added to the park in phases.

Ohio State is planning a massive expansion of Wexner Medical Center that would be at least 2x the size of the 21-story tower completed in 2012.

This is big news. This was the original site of the casino and also my preferred site for a new Crew Stadium. While this is a positive development, I still would have preferred the casino. Columbus needs to keep building "attractions" to bring dollars and more people downtown. The casino and a dream idea of a new stadium does that. Not so sure this would.

This plan has now been abandoned.

There is no reason that it won't be developed at some point. I'm sure Nationwide or even a more national developer would be happy to take it off their hands and do something with it. The railroad tracks are a challenge, but not insurmountable.

Another 650 cars clogging up dozens of streets Downtown and in the Short North. Just what Cowlumbus needs.

"The convention center already is served by three parking garages to the north, west and south, plus a surface parking lot to the east with 4,000 parking spaces."
Plans for New Convention Center Garage Moving Forward | ColumbusUnderground.com

As it turns out, a lot of people were wrong about the location of this proposed 8-story garage. Most thought that it would be going into the large surface lot between N. 3rd and N. 4th behind the Drury Inn, but instead it will be going into the triangular area south of the railroad tracks and the N. 3rd exit ramp. There is nothing actually there but what looks like mostly a loading area. The new garage will be attached to the convention center directly.

The huge surface lot to the east will remain for the time being, but the plan is to develop it eventually. What that development might look like is unknown at this point. So the good news is that there is still every possibility to see decent redevelopment for the site at some point.

Columbus City Schools Auctions Three Sites; Chicago Developer Among Buyers | ColumbusUnderground.com

Columbus auctioned off 3 unused sites to various developers recently. There don't appear to be any immediate plans for any of them.
The Maennerchor building will probably remain as it, but no uses for it have been announced.

The former Africentric school site off of Livingston was bought by Nationwide Childrens, and for the near-term, will make the site a parking lot, with longer-term plans to redevelop the site with more medical and office buildings.

Finally, the site at 1300 Forysythe Avenue in the University District was sold to a Chicago-based developer. Again, no word on what they might do with it, but I'm going to guess some kind of mixed-use redevelopment.
