It was on Nelson Road just south of Broad Street.

Can anyone give me any personal input on Columbus Academy or Wellington School?

I know that you can get some feedback on greatschool.org website, but was wanting some other info. Sometimes you don't know what to trust online. I know that it is kind of ironic that I am also asking this question online. I am moving from out of state, and these two schools popped up on my radar for my middle school son.

Columbus Academy is much older and more well-known than Wellington. Academy was founded over 100 years ago while Wellington came along some time in the 70's or 80's. In terms of phsical plant, Academy is more impressive and I also think Academy offers more in the way of programs simply because it's bigger and likely has a larger endowment. Because it's older, Academy has a more influential alumni base around the city, and many of the most prominent families in the city have had their kids educated at Academy. Ultimately, you need to visit each school and see which one feels right for your child.
