My family and I are looking for a nice rural home to rent. We have scoured the net to include CL and have found nothing but over priced cookie cutter communities. We are looking for an old farm house or something along those lines. A place where are neighbors don't live right on top of us or in the same house.

Keep heading further away from c-bus's suburbs and eventually you will find that Ohio is littered with old farm houses.

Things get very rural outside of Columbus if you go south or west from the metro area. Thus, you might try looking in places like Madison or *****way counties. If looking north or east, you'll have to travel a bit further as development from Columbus has sprawled a great deal in those directions. Perhaps Union or Licking counties. Good luck.

Once you get outside of the urban core, Ohio turns VERY rural.
