Hi all,

I'm looking to buy in Dublin, which means I have to commute via 315 north - 270 west -33 west everyday.
I tried 5pm, 5:30pm, 4:30pm, etc. for several days, and found out it takes, on average, 40-50 min. Without traffic, for example in weekends, it takes 25 min.

I have to admit that the rush hour traffic is scaring me off. Then I found about this project.
Maps 270-33
If they are improving the interchange by 2015, it means, I'd be stuck with rush hour traffic AND the construction for the next three years. Then they'll start the next phase constructions, so I'll probably have to deal with construction for long time. Well, after all the construction's done, say in 10 years, I'm sure the traffic would improve, but what do I do in the meantime?

Any thoughts? Inputs? I'm grateful that, at least for now, <315 north-270 west> is not as bad as <315 north -270 east>.

Traffic is always bad on that side of town. Even the back roads and side streets are bumper to bumper during rush hour. I wouldn't count on the 270/33 interchange being improved any time soon considering ODOT and the state's finances.

You could take the COTA at Frantz Rd & w Bridge St. Takes about 30-40 minutes to downtown in the morning, and you'll save the stress of driving in traffic, as well as gas/parking $$$.

Just a thought. The Dublin bus isn't too shady.

If you are going to drive, take 33 the whole way. Don't bother with 270/315 during rush hour.
