During the school year, OSU has a program called Conversation Partners.

Columbus Metropolitan Library has a program for English as a Second Language. Stop into any branch to find out.

What country are you from? If you want to learn to converse English with someone you can meet others who also are taking ESL (English as a second language) at the Columbus Metro Library, call and ask if they are having a class for people who are taking English as a second language and request a class schedule and also ask which library locations have this type of group or class because there are several in the city.

O I A, that's really too bad that they can't get you a partner. I used to be a conversation partner at OSU, and frequently my international student partner would kind of fall off the face of the earth and then I wouldn't really be helping anyone! If I still lived in Columbus, I'd help you out, but maybe you could e-mail somebody from the International Affairs Scholars program? I know a lot of students from there do ECP and might be willing to talk with you!
